The Jewelry leather box pattern is a pdf downloadable leather crafting pattern to create a matchbox style case that can hold a bunch of rings, earrings and other jewelry.
It is good to keep both at home or use as a travel case for various small valuables. The leather box template also doubles up as a coin pocket or a tampons case holding 4-5 tampons, making it a discreet purse carry.
It is an advanced skill level wallet template that provides also a learning opportunity for those that never crafted a design like that. Dimensions: 7/7/2cm (~2.75/2.75/0.8 inches)
Skill level: Advanced
Leather:
> for the Sleeve & Tray: 1.2mm (3oz), medium to stiff temper
> for the strap: 1mm (2.5oz) if you will use the stitched version or 1.4-1.6mm (3.5-4oz) if you will use the non-stitch version
Pattern specific tools/materials:
> 2mm and 4mm hole punches
> 1 snap button up to 12.5mm (1/2inch) in diameter
> Print pattern at 100% and verify size using the Print Accuracy Test. Measure and cut on outside edge of the lines. Review the assembly instructions and pictures included in the zip folder prior to commencing the build.
IMPORTANT: Stitching holes are 3mm from the edge (unless mentioned otherwise in the instructions) and spaced at 3.85mm. Due to the nature of the box Tray pattern other spacing may not be possible. If you don’t have 3.85mm irons consider punching the holes individually after marking them from the pattern onto the leather. Irons spacing can be other on the Sleeve and the Strap patterns.
