Cordovan (shell cordovan / horse leather) needs its own care. Regular shoe polishes made for calfskin contain too much solvent for cordovan. Saphir Médaille d'Or Cordovan Cream was developed together with Horween Leather Co. to nourish, recolour and protect cordovan.
The cream is made with beeswax and neatsfoot oil and contains only a fraction of the solvent found in normal shoe creams. Its high pigment content helps to cover scratches and refresh the colour.
How to use:
- Apply a small amount with an applicator brush or a cloth in small circular motions.
- Let it absorb for approx. 5 minutes.
- Buff with a horsehair brush to bring up the shine.
