Back Story
Blade punches were one of the first products I had in my collaboration with Leatherworkschool back in 2020. It was one of my first products where I dipped more skin into manufacturing.
Not until recently, I have decided to bring this tool back to the Leathercraft community. I decided to keep the same profile on the tool (Because I grew lazy), but improved the processes and precision that it was manufactured with.
2024
We now have accumulated sufficient experience to manufacture these with a closer tolerance. We are proud to be relaunching this product.
We wanted to stay true to the geometry of single bevel knife, and a tool that will transcend the test of time. With that comes the question of maintainability. For a single bevel blade to be easily maintained through hand sharpening, the bottom side must be a flat plane, such that the sharpening medium can come in even contact with the full length of the bevel.
